Accessibility Statement

The Accessibility Practice is committed to making sites accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We are constantly improving the service we provide through our app to comply with increasing accessibility standards and guidelines and to make the browsing experience better for everyone.

Availability

The application uses requirements defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of compliance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Accessible Application follows best guidelines and is partially compliant with WCAG 2.0 level AA.

Accessible App is an app supported in Shopify and Wordpress environments. The application is based on the following technologies:

Accessible App features

When an Accessible Application is installed on a site, the website can be navigated via keyboard navigation using the "tab" key (WCAG 2.1/2.1.1). Additionally, see the list of all Accessible App features and tools provided for better website experience:

Zoom | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.4

This feature allows users to enhance the size of text up to three times the original text for better text readability.

Makes the cursor larger and more visible. Increases size for better site crawling.

Invert colors

Invert the colors of website content. For those with reduced vision, high contrast greatly helps read the site better.

Contrast Adjustment | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.6

This feature allows users to manually choose between two options: increase the contrast of the website or decrease the contrast.

Adjust Brightness | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.6

This feature allows users to update the brightness on the site. Content can be made brighter or darker.

Grayscale | WCAG 2.1 / 1.4.6

Users can turn on grayscale so that website content appears only in shades of gray. This benefits people with visual impairments.

Reading Line

Add a supporting reading line to the site.

Readable fonts

Convert the fonts available on the site to one of the easiest to read: Helvetica.

Alt Text and Images

Ability to read alt text of images. From now on, our tool allows you to add alt descriptions for images Google's Vision AI. If you haven't written these image descriptions yourself, this will greatly help visually impaired people browse your site.

 

Highlight links

Highlight links to make them more obvious.

Hide images

Hide images on the site. This provides better readability of the site for people with visual impairments.

Read the page

A feature that allows a voice to read text on your site out loud to visitors.
